обновление ESXi, версии от HP

На форуме VMware всплывает следующий вопрос:
"Вот у меня сервер HP, с интегрированным ESXi. ESXi от HP обладает особенностью - интегрированным агентом мониторинга. Если я его обновлю с помощью VUM(VMware Update Mnager), не обновится ли он мне на стандартную версию ESXi, без этого агента?"

Один из участников форума цитирует суппорт HP:
"How do I update the HP image shipped on USB keys in the future?


There are two ways for customers to update the HP image on the USB key. HP Smart Update Manager can be used to update the USB key in the future. This is the same tool used to update system firmware. Customers can also use VMware Update Manager (VUM) from the VI Client to update the HP image on the USB key. VUM will detect that the host has an OEM image, and will retain that image across an upgrade."
